I gave this place a second chance because it’s open after 10pm. The first time I came here, I ordered fries and they were awful. It tasted like they never changed the oil. My most recent trip wasn’t any better. I ordered some garlic fries (absolutely disappointed), fried mushroom, and a Thai tea. I can only recommend the drink and nothing more. You have to make sure they give you the correct order (with the extras you paid for).
Their popcorn chicken is really good and so is the spicy ranch straight up 5 ⭐️ my only issue with them is that every single time I place a doordash order they always mess it up somehow. Either we get the bits that are small and super crunchy with little to no meat (hence bits) or for the spicy ranch we either do get it but not all of the quantity ordered or none. The only time the order was right was when we called the store the second we placed the order and told them to make sure they don’t forget the spicy ranch in our order. I shouldn’t have to call to ask for my order to be made correct.
The orange chicken with rice is good. However, the pop corn chicken was terrible. Perfect on the surface but UGLY inside!!! They filled the box with about 50% of fried flour. I felt soooo sad and angry about it.
:((((( Used to like Teabo.
The star jelly looks so cute in the milk tea. The milk tea is not fancy but tasty. And the fried mushrooms are very good as well.
Definitely very disappointed. This place used to be my favorite tea place. Definitely not anymore. They just over priced their tea and their chicken . The chicken taste like it's just been refried over and over again that its hard , and they're charging for sauces they used to give as part of a chicken order. The owners are Definitely squeezing every penny they can get out of their food and employees . Very friendly Staff , but Definitely short staffed. Drinks take like 15- 20 mins to make because usually its only 1 person doing the work.
The tea is over-steeped. The workers don't know how long the tea steeps for and, according to them, their boss has it made in large condensed batches instead of making the tea to order.
Sugar is the only thing that makes this palatable and even then it's soapy.
When I bought a boba (green tea, soy milk, with aloe, and lychee stars, zero sugar) the same tea I normally get at any other boba place, I got home to a soapy mess that was so disgusting I washed the boba and brewed my own homemade tea to use with the boba--which was at least okay. I called Teabo and said the tea was over-steeped. The customer service script ensued and they barely wanted to do anything about it but eventually said if I came by tomorrow night during one specific employee's shift, they would make me the same tea just not over-steeped.
They changed nothing. Except this time they also forgot the lychee stars, even with a printed receipt provided. The tea was disgustingly over-steeped and this time without the sweetness of the lychee stars tasted worse.
I called again and found out the workers have no idea how their tea is made. Their boss has others in the back make drinks in huge batches with unknown steep times. At that point I asked for a refund which they refused to provide.
If you actually like tea, not just sugar loaded milk, avoid this place and go anywhere else. It's worth the wait and it only takes 2-3 minutes to steep green tea anyway.
I tried it cause they open late but their matcha drinks taste like dirt. Service and environment was fine, but the food and drinks are just not up to par
The milk tea with boba we ordered was ready in 2 minutes! Very efficient team that makes delicious drinks (and food). We love their popcorn chicken and Thai fries!
